Planned giving
Over the past several years, the EYC Foundation has made over $140,000 in grants to many community organizations whose programs have meet the Foundation’s mission. As we look forward, our goal is to grow our assets so that we can not only provide our annual grant awards, but also fund larger, more impactful programs that would benefit Erie and the boating community.
The Foundation is now embarking on a program to encourage donations through planned giving. Our brochure, “A Guide for Supporting Erie’s Maritime Future” details the many ways that you can support our efforts, whether by bequest through an estate or trust, a retirement account or life insurance and can be accessed by clicking here. By designating the Erie Yacht Club Foundation as a beneficiary of a planned gift, you can also become a member of our Burgee Society, our way of recognizing those persons who donate to the Foundation.
